I moved to London from Belgium when I was fairly young, learned English, and did my time in school.
I went on to do an Engineering bachelors, which I eventually realised was not particularly enticing, so I did a few design internships as well and graduated my BEng with 1st Class (Hons).
Afterwards, I did my design Masters at Royal College of Art & Imperial: The MA & MSc course fundamentally overhauled the way I worked, learned, and thought.
Working as a design consultant throughout my masters, I picked up a variety of useful design skills and methodology for both software and hardware.
Having worked in quite a few startups in highly regulated industries, I also have skills beyond the screen: Product strategy, compliance, business development, investment raising, management, copywriting, marketing, branding, art direction etc...and even accounting.
I have also coded and launched a few iOS apps in Swift and Obj-C, so I'm able to work easily with devs and know their requirements.
Overall, I have 5+ years of experience with recent roles being at mid-senior level depending on the size of the team.
